Description

This delicate, porcelain, demitasse sized coffee or tea cup is decorated with a pink border and adorned with pink, yellow, and blue flowers with green leaves. The porcelain is so thin that the light shines through. Marked "Made in Occupied Japan" we can date this piece to the time period shortly after WWII between 1945 and 1952. The cup measures 2 1/4" in height and the saucer is 4 1/2" in diameter. In excellent condition the set has no chips, nicks, or cracks and the decoration is clear and unworn. I am pleased to offer a set of four diamond cut wine glasses which are signed with the St Louis Crystal acid etched mark. The simple, yet elegant design of these wine glasses feature a cross cut pattern rising approximately halfway up the bowl of each glass and a starburst cutting on the foot. The stem features a smooth and sleek hexagonal panel cut. Each glass measures 5 1/8" in height and 2 1/4" in diameter at the rim. They are signed with the round, acid etched, St Louis mark which reads "Cristal St Louis France" in upper case. This mark was utilized between the 1950s and 1970s. In excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks this set would make a beautiful wedding or anniversary gift, or a wonderful addition to your own home.
