Offered for your consideration is a vintage CROSS ladies ballpoint pen , made in the USA c.1980. Featuring the silhouette of CROSS’ Classic business pen, but without a pocket clip, it features a 10K gold-filled metal cap with gold-plated trim, decorative center, and chromed steel writing cone. The side bears a monogram, SUSAN DOBBE, but it’s not overly detracting. Please see the large photos that I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this CROSS pen should be yours. The CROSS ladies pen, sometimes called the purse pen, is in clean, very good condition. It measures just under 5¼” long by 5/16” thick. There are no dings, noteworthy scratches, or undue tarnish, just plenty of tiny nicks, scuffs, and expected usage marks from the decades. Plus, the halves engage decisively, smoothly. Overall, this pen presents quite nicely. What’s more, the barrel twist mechanism extends and retracts the point smoothly, without fail. It has a CROSS blue ink cartridge that’s still writing. For the new owner’s convenience, I’m also including a vintage CROSS medium point blue ballpoint refill, as pictured. And, the small leather sheath—the “pen purse”—is included here, as pictured. Lastly, the pen has terrific balance, proper mass, and feels great to write with! So, as pictured and described, this CROSS ladies’ ballpoint pen is offered at a competitive price.
